I have IBS, thus the ring of fire is quite well known to me.  Is it bad I've come out of the bathroom after number two crying?

I was grateful that I didn't have a ring of fire down there. But the smell... I don't often wish I have a gas mask, but yesterday, I really could have used one. :)

I always know its bad when my gas offends me!

No kidding!  ;D

*hugs* Wish I could give some sort of suggestion to help.

Haha, thanks though.  I use what I call sunburn cream (because honestly, it really is really good for sunburns!): Preparation H...but when you're constantly going and constantly wiping, it doesn't always have time to soak in.  Funny thing is, spicy food has absolutely nothing to do with.  I eat really spicy stuff all of the time and have no problems most of the time.

I bought benzocaine spray.  I've also used aloe gel that contained lidocaine before...

I swear by baby diaper cream for those painful days. It's cheap and comes in handy travel sizes. :)

I wonder how that compares to my dog's lovely little bioterror bombs. I swear, he's been trying to asphyxiate me all evening!

That reminds me, not sure if I posted it here or not. But mom found out the hard way that the fan in the bathroom of our apartment vents into the laundry room right behind it, and not outside. How did we find out? When I had a particularly healthy one with the fan on while she was in the laundry room...

Light a candle - or at least burn a match - some of those gases are flammable and will burn right out of the room, if there is a flame.

VorGuy is notorious for needing a candle in the bathroom......sometimes I wonder if he needs two candles.

Someone didn't think when installing that fan. Pushing air from the bathroom to the laundry, where the clean clothes are? Yuck!

When he was a puppy first learning to not go in the house, Colossus peed on the intake for the forced air.  Reaching down into that thing to clean it was not easy and I still smelled pee for a few days.

Put a box in front of the intake.  Block him from that section of the floor.

Unfortunately, blocking the intake like that would also block my walkway out of my bedroom :(
