Apparently soft waffles can make violinp throw up so hard she gives her a bloody nose IN BOTH NOSTRILS. Nyahhh, that was nasty.

At least my parents were already at work, though, because my dad is a sympathy - vomiter.

Poor spider :(  Both for being squished and for being infected with that!

Of all the things I've seen on this thread, this actually makes me feel queasy. And probably thanks to the popcorn some girl's eating in a nearby cube, I won't be able to eat popcorn for a while either.

Ladies and gentlemen - the Asian giant hornet.   They're huge, aggressive, and the sting will shut down your kidneys.

Best part of all?  Has been sighted in Illinois!

Dang, I just had a completely instinctive response to that picture.

I REALLY hope that those are dead posing on someone's hand. Really.

Wow. Two bug posts in a row that make me all icky inside. I mean, I'm okay with most bugs, but bugs inside bugs and huge hand-size bugs tend to get me.

Yes - they're dead.  They're lethal to humans after all!   :o

Thanks for that....we're headed to IL for a wedding next month  :-\
In the United States today, there is a pervasive tendency to treat children as adults, and adults as children.  The options of children are thus steadily expanded, while those of adults are progressively constricted.  The result is unruly children and childish adults.  ~Thomas Szasz
