Help in finding a good app?
« on: June 09, 2012, 08:20:00 AM »
Just wondered if anyone knew of a useful app which shows different weight-training exercises, and the muscles they work?  I've tried a couple, but ended up deleting them because they required registering an account and for my iPod to have internet connectivity (not happening out here in the sticks).

Yes, I am with a trainer, but would find such an app useful as well.  Any suggestions available on iTunes gratefully received!

I was recently looking for some fitness app and among the recommendations was Fitness Buddy. It seemed too complicated for me because I know nothing about muscles so I don't know if it's any good but it had a lot of exercises based on different muscles and equipment. The problem is that I think that it requires Internet connection to download the exercises, but I think that once you've downloaded them they're stored on the device and you don't need to be connected to use the app. There's also a free version you can try.

Thanks for that Ereine - I'll check it out.

I've never been able to get my iPod to connect to the internet, even when in the city, which makes things a bit awkward.
