Can somebody please tell me why people keep posting colors on facebook?  Am I missing something here?

Hi Girls,I've just been sent this..Its just a little fun for us girls only..Each of you write on your status what colour your bra is..Nothing else, just the colour.... Then send this by private message ONLY, 2 all the females on ur frends list.. Lets see how quickly we can spread the wings of cancer awareness, and see how confused all the men get when they see just a colour as our status...Take care

I did not , don't really get it myself.  Besides white and beige are pretty boring colors IMHO

This is so funny because DF and I were just sitting here wondering why his aunt had a status of "black." She apparently missed the part about notifying all of the females about it and just posted the color. DF is now complaining about knowing too much about his aunt. :D

That... doesn't make any... sense...

So confused.  How does a cutesy, cryptic status update "spread the wings of cancer awareness"?  Oh my head.

I'm glad I'm wearing my pink bra today!  It seems appropriate somehow.

Is THAT what my friend's status meant?  Oh.

I don't get it.  Not only did she not explain it to the other females, but how does this promote cancer awareness?

I'm confused.

And, ummmmm...., beige today.

Edited....I mean white.  I forgot I grabbed that one instead today.

It got people asking about it, didn't it?   ;D

Not really.  I just chalked it up to her posting a weird status and didn't bother with it any further.  Had this thread not been started, I wouldn't have known - or thought to ask - what it was all about.

So, it's not really getting anyone talking about it as such.

Who cares what color my bra is today?  Do people want to know my panty color, too (red, by the way)?  That doesn't promote ovarian cancer awareness to know that fact!  Just makes me seem strange for telling you something so personal!

The cancer awareness would make sense if some information was included. Sounds like someone started it for attention.

Aren't most people aware of the fact that cancer exists? I mean, it's not like it's dark matter or leptons or something.

For some reason, this got me laughing really hard.  Thanks for that.  :)

;D  I'm starting to think we should have some sort of lepton awareness campaign. "Leptons! They're in your body right now!" I'm just not sure what color ribbon would be appropriate?
