I'm pretty sure Run Joey Run by David Geddes is a strong contender for the title.

The part where she takes the bullet her dad meant for her boyfriend and dies to the heavenly chorus is, admittedly, hilarious.

The Chicken Dance.

Not only do I hate that song per se.

But it does NOT belong at a wedding.

When my brother went to a wedding for the first time (as an invited guest), he told me that the Chicken Dance they played was more suited for a kindergarten's class end of year party than for the union of two adults in holy matrimony.

James Blunt makes me want to scream. Especially 'You're beautiful.'

Coldplay makes me homicidal. Too many songs to list, but really dislike them.

And I hate REM's Shiny Happy People. And I love REM, I do.

Another vote for "Truly, Madly, Deeply" by Savage Garden - just yucky!

Also anything by Simply Red - not quite sure why, but that group just bug me sooo much!

And Crazy Frog - aarrghhh!!!

I absolutely hate Whitney Houston's version of I Will Always Love You, she took a beautiful song and totally ruined it. I also hate anything, and I do mean anything by Duran Duran, total garbage.

Ed.

I'll never understand why Whitney insisted on yelling and gasping her way through that song. Dolly Parton sang it so simply and honestly.

That one was forbidden at my wedding... As in I told the DJ if he played it he wouldn't get paid by order of the PsychoBride (Me!)

All the songs I've ever heard that have my real-world first name (and I am not revealing it).

I can't believe I forgot "You're Beautiful"! I don't like the song itself and the thought of being obsessed about a girl you saw in passing seems weird and creepy to me.

Another vote for "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt--that song is just creepy!!

Anything by Gwen Stefani. And Black Eyed Peas. They're catchy for like, two seconds, then they get really old really fast.

I'm also not a big fan of Carrie Underwood. That "Cowboy Casanova" song is like a cheese grater on my eardrums!

However..."Truly Madly Deeply" by Savage Garden was the "First Dance" song for hubby & my wedding! And we're having major issues right now and about ready to file divorce. Hmmmmm.... LOL :)
Never try to fit in when you are meant to stand out!

When FH and I are asked "Awww, why aren't you having a dance at your reception" we tell them that we got in huge fight over the Chicken Dance. He tells them it's my favorite, I tell them it's his. So far we get this look a lot  ???.

All the songs I've ever heard that have my real-world first name (and I am not revealing it).

Me, too!  (I doubt we have the same first name, though.)

Whenever my namesake song was played on the radio first thing in the morning, I was greeted with the chorus as I got on the school bus.

If I ever get married, the DJ's not getting paid if he plays that song or any of the others with similar sounding names.  Or the Chicken Dance...
