Commenting on old pictures/blog entries

There is no time limit on commenting on content.  If you want people to not comment, then take it down, as there is no reason to leave it for people to see because looking at it could cause them to have a thought about it that they might want to share.  In the case of other people's content, you're out of luck, unless you want to request that they remove it (which I might do if it were an unflattering photo of myself).
