At this point I would ignore the comment.

I'm 99.8% sure that, given the background, this was a dig at afbluebelle.  However, my policy on PA comments is to take them literally.  I refuse to fill in words where there are none, and I will not read minds.  I agree with the Duck Method above.

Agreed! I like to play "dumb" in the face of passive aggressive.  ;D

I would ignore it unless she says something that is more clearly a dig. If that did happen, my response woule be to keep my head down so I could maintain at least some contact. Private messages may be a good idea unless you think she may snoop.

You could consider blocking her, but if she realizes you did that she may force your friend to block you and then you loose contact.

I wouldn't block them... but maybe I wouldn't write on his wall any more. 

I wouldn't take it as a dig if it weren't for that backstory.  Given the animus that woman has shown afbluebelle in the past, I think it's a reasonable interpretation to take it as a slam.
