Calling out-of-town RSVP's

(1/1)

ShadesOfGrey:
Ok, I have another quick one for you....

I sent some invitations to a baby shower to some people who live in another state, mostly out of courtesy, the MTB was close to them when they lived closer.

Should I call them for an RSVP since they havent responded?

One of them we both know she wont make it (but I will see her before the party),

but there is another that sometimes comes up to the area during that time of year, but hasnt lately.

Another is the MTB's mother-in-law who actually lives close to the MTB, and the SIL already responded that she is going to go to the MIL's shower (she lives near the MIL and MTB and we didnt know at the time that MIL was going to throw her own shower, plus, most of MTB's relatives and friends dont live near them).

What to do?

ehellion:
I'd call, just to be sure.

bopper:
I wouldn't call them.  I think if they were coming from out of state they would let you know.
Unless 1 person would make or break your event, I would not call.
