Depends on the time, since I would not ave a lot of time I would do a refrigerator cheese cake or a really good cake that is served chilled and is super easy.
Refrigerator cheese cake is one probably everyone knows
Prepared graham cracker crust or short bread cookie crust
1 block cream cheese at room temperature
1 can sweetened condensed milk, 1/3 cup lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 can of your favorite fruit topping.
Blend cheesecake until smooth, add condensed milk, vanilla and lemon juice, pour into crust, chill over night, serve with topping.
the yellow cake one is called in my family a Better than S3x cake.
1 box yellow cake mix and ingredients to make it
whipped cream
butter
vanilla pudding mix and ingredients to make it
2 cans crushed pineapple
sugar
pecans
coconut
Bake a yellow cake mix in a 9x13 cake pan per directions
Take 2 cans of crushed pineapple with the juice and 3-4 tablespoons butter 1/2 cup sugar and heat together in a skillet until nice a bubbly and slightly reduced.
Pour pineapple on top of cake and chill, the juice will soak into the cake and it will be moist and sometimes wet, it is SUPER yummy if you like pineapple. I poke holes int he cake to distribute the juice evenly.
then mix a package of vanilla pudding and pour and spread over cake, top with whipped cream (like you are icing the cake)l. Garnish with coconut and chopped pecans. My mom likes it with maraschino cherries.
