DH and I keep going 'round about the corn thing. I insist it's a grain. He thinks I'm nuts.

My "little thing" for today? I'm nearly the sole day person in our department. I'm the first one in the building early in the morning, I put out multiple fires (not literally ... usually) during the day, answer the phones, work on projects and deal with any issues, and by 4 p.m. I've worked a full shift, I'm tired and it's time to go home and cook dinner for the family. (And enjoy the 30 minutes or so we have before DH goes off to work.)
Then there's co-worker who saunters in about 3:30 p.m. (aside from me, many of us don't work set hours) and sniffs about how it "must be nice!" to leave at 4 p.m.
Yeah. I didn't see you here at 8 a.m., dearie.
The temptation to say "Well, must be nice to sleep past sunrise!" is overwhelming.
