It's iceD tea, not ice tea.  And the word is spelled Y'all, not ya'll.  You all, y'all, see?

It's tough being a spelling freak.

Although, really, do we need the neologism there? Should your choices by 'iced tea' or 'sweetened iced tea'? After all, water and tea leaves are the base product, not the sugar.

One of my exes from the south tells me that they actually add the sugar to the boiling water before they add the tea leaves. Sweet tea is different than iced tea with sweetener added.

Due to =/= do to =/= do too. One is because of something else, one is something done to something else, and one is something else that is done.

My kids have been whining "It's the summer! Stop correcting our grammar!" Sorry kiddos, I'm your mom, it comes with the territory.

Well, technically, she's right. Her brain stopped working.

Well, she has always said "mine" that way, but this is a first for typed communication. In a professional environment as well.

Why is "squeek" instead of "squeak" suddenly acceptable?   I swear, I'm seeing it everywhere.

Dried beans that refuse to get soft. This batch of black beans was in the crockpot for 10 hours, then simmering on the stove for another 1.5 hours and they're still crunchy in the middle.
