Allergies.  I will be so happy when the first killing frost hits!

New monitor (yay) has 2' power cord with a giant grounding plug. Not ergonomic.

My department moved to a different location, which overall is a really good thing. The downside to it is that I now sit right next to someone who used to be a fair ways away from me. Because of this, I now realize that this person has some seriously annoying habits that I was not previously aware of. He is noisy overall, which I was somewhat aware of (for example, he practically screams when talking on the phone).

What I didn't realize was that he talks to himself all the livelong day. Sometimes it's in a whisper and sometimes in a normal speaking voice. Both are about equally irritating. When he's typing, which he does extensively as part of his job, he reads aloud to himself what he's typing. It never stops.

I'm this close to shouting "For the love of all that is holy, please SHUT UP."

And mosquitoes.  I live in Maryland and went outside for a mere 10 minutes.  Got about 5-10 bites.  Come on winter!

Xmas instead of Christmas. I know the reasons behind the abbreviation, but it still bugs me.

^ That gets me too.

I also hate T-giving instead of Thanksgiving.

People who take a difference of opinion as a personal insult. It's like they can't understand that I can like something they don't without judging them.

Oh yes, and the opposite - that I can dislike something they like and it's not an issue.

Tell me about it. I've been grilling most of this summer and I always come back inside with a few bites. I'll also be happy to wave bye bye to the flies that like to wander in.

My DH did this a lot more than I liked when we were first dating.  I've had to explain to him more than once that me not liking something he does is not a personal attack on him, it is not a judgement, it is just a difference in personal taste.

I've belonged to other internet communities, and this gets to be a huge deal, and is a giant peeve of mine. Person A posts that they love Yellow. Person B posts that they love Pink. Person C posts that they've had good experiences with both Yellow and Pink, but prefer Orange. Person A freaks out that everyone is "smacking them down" and judging them. Even better when it escalates to how Person B and C are intolerant of anyone who prefers Yellow.   ::) :-\

Exactly! If I like it and they don't, hey, more for me! I will throw myself on that grenade and remove whatever it is from their vicinity so they don't have to endure it. >:D And if they like it and I don't, I will happily give them my share of the world supply of whateveritis. :P

Reverse snobbery. I am soooo tired of people acting as if their choice to spend as little money or time on something as possible somehow makes them eligible for Best Person of the Year Award.  Newsflash: getting your wedding gown out of the trash makes you no better or no worse than a bride who buys a designer gown. You've just spent your money differently!  Also newsflash: spending little money on your wedding is actually NOT a guarantee that you'll have a better marriage than somehow who spent more money.  Just like buying a Ford Escort does not make you a better driver than someone who bought a Mercedes.

Oh yes. It's all about your own priorities. I get pedicures May-Oct usually. I am finally able to afford to do it, and I stink at doing my own. I really hate when someone compliments me on my toe color, and i say, thanks, just got it done, or tried a new one, and they come out with the inevitable "must be NICE to be able to do that" Says that same someone who spend upward of $100 a month on their cell plan, and as the newest and bestest phone!  I won't spend that much since i hardly use my phone. I get funny looks about it, but my plan suits me just fine, at 1/4 the cost.
