A new thing that drives me nuts -
I went into my local grocery a few days ago and wanted to buy some replacement cartridges for my Venus razor. Now, I understand that these things are small and expensive, so many stores have extra security for them. Fine. The sign on the shelf where they had them said "See Customer Service Window." So, I went to the Customer Service Window, and no one was there. So I gave up and started checking out. The cashier asked me, as usual, "Did you find everything?" and I mentioned the replacement cartridges. She offered to call up a manager for the Service Desk for me. I finished checking out what I had, assuming I'd have to do a separate transaction for the razors. OK, but annoying. Another 5 minutes passes, and a manager comes out. I tell her what I want, and she gets all confused and shows me the locked cabinet with everything - I point out what I want. She disappears for another 5 minutes.
It turns out no one in the store has keys to the locked cabinet. Seriously, people? Do you want to sell these things or not? They're expensive, so probably high-profit for you. Making them unpurchasable is probably not a great idea.
P.S. I bought them off the shelf at Target today, no trouble.
