I told Chip last night that we should go out for Chinese on Christmas Day — if we can find a place that doesn't use MSG. He's developed a very bad allergy to it.

We may go to the movies Christmas night, however. Sissie and I used to do that sometimes.

Chris and I are 'orphans' for the day this year and I'm a bit upset that we couldn't afford to go 'home' for Christmas as I'm very close to my family. So far our plan is to have a yummy roast beef dinner (he is sick of turkey leftovers from Thanksgiving) and play video games/Dreamblade all day.

Christmas morning we'll be on speaker phone with my family opening gifts 'together', and after that we'll call his parents I'm sure. They don't really celebrate Christmas so that will be a shorter call than the one with my parents.

I'm not going to Mom's for Christmas because I went for Thanksgiving, and my whole family was there for my dad's 70th birthday, so I already got to see everyone.  I also gave them their presents.

My plans are to read the paper (which I only get on weekends and holidays), laze around and watch "A Christmas Story" and make myself a nice dinner.  I might have a movie marathon of Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings.  I also want to do some crafts that I haven't worked on in a long time (dollhouses).
