Just made a donation for you, afbluebelle.  You rock!  That has to be one of the craziest races I've ever heard of!

I jammed my ankle and got a massive bruise on my arm before the race started. There is this wall obstacle before the start line that you have to make it over, and my ascent/descent was decidedly ungraceful.

The race was AWESOME though! I hooked up with a time 5-10 minutes before the start of the race, and we stuck together through the whole thing. My time wasn't the greatest (3 hr 45min) but I'm stupid excited to get that lower the next time I do it.

I thoroughly gloated at work. I was on leave until the bruising faded and the limp was better  >:D
My inner (r-word) is having a field day with this one.
