I didn't put up my tree this year.  Somehow, I just wasn't in the mood. I do have a lighted garland on my mantel...but that's about it.

It's only the second time ever, that I haven't had a tree.  The first, was when I loaned it to a friend, because she couldn't afford a tree. (Ugly divorce)  But at least I had "visitation" with it at her house that year!  lol

Yes, I have an artificial tree.  It's really quite lovely, but I've been a bit "humbuggy" this year.  Too much month at the end of my money...I guess.  No "room at the inn" for extras.

Started Thanksgiving Day, took ten days. Will stay up till January 6th.

We normally put our tree up the first week of December, but our schedule was just nuts this year.

I surprised DD Christmas morning with the living room straightened up, the tree up and decorated, gifts in her stocking, and we even had something light to eat for breakfast after she opened her gifts.

Her Daddy comes home Friday and we'll celebrate Christmas Saturday around noontime or so with her older siblings(plus 2 boyfriends and a husband).

Loren and I put up the tree the day after Thanksgiving, it is a tradition we started last year. Her daycare is closed that day, and I keep her for Sis.
