How about a pregnancy board?

My experiences have been a lot like MrsJWine's (that was a hillarious summary, btw.). Well, if not here, what about a pregnancy board off-site just for E-hellions? With a sticky pointing to it? Would anyone be interested in something like that?

I'm not sure off site boards would be a great idea for anything. The thought had occurred to me (not for a pregnancy board, but in general), but if the other board was not moderated the same I think there may be issues of things getting bad on the other board and carrying back here.

The Ehell forum split a few years ago because of things that happened on an offsite forum.

I think we'll just have to accept that there isn't going to be a separate folder devoted to pregnancy here.

I forgot about that KR.   It certainly was a bad time for the board with many hurt feelings and tarnished friendships.

Aside from the issues of there already being a large number of such boards on the Internet, I think Jeanne wants to make sure that the discussions don't evolve into medical matters.

I agree with some PPs...there are tons of parenting and pregnancy communities.... why have another one here? I think it may really split the haves from the have nots in this case
