Having acne, I've discovered, means that perfect strangers suddenly become dermatologists.

Anyone else ever get this?

Like "have you tried Accutane/birth control pills/drinking more water/ProActiv/prayer?"  (for the record, it made me sick/made me psychotic/already do/use the store brand/God's got bigger problems).

Blech...I'm long past my teenage years.

I promise you're not alone, I'm 30 and female and still getting acne.

M-theory:
I have a touch of the adult acne also. I posted a thread some time back about going in to get foundation matched and being told "Do you have rosacea? Wow, your skin is really rough, like a man's!" Yeah, and your mouth really runs off, like Niagara Falls.

I've since found a cleanser that tones down the redness, but I still break out. Happens to the best of us!

51 year old acne sufferer here.....

nothing really works for me - when my skin decides to go to pot -- it will

the ONLY thing that slows it down is Panoxal soap.

a good deal of mine is "cycle related"  and this month is a killer.
