The thing about asking on an internet forum is that the suggestions we put forth may not sit well in her voice.  Or, her timbre may be completely wrong for it.  We keep suggesting things from Chicago, for example, but the type of voice needed to pull that off is kind of throaty, and very sultry.  The OP may have a very sweet sounding voice.  Plus her age I feel totally plays a factor in what she selects.  And I'd recommend transposing a song for her much more than a high tenor song.  If she's learning something to wow people with and audition with in the future, judges and casting directors will definitely note if she's singing a song meant for the opposite gender.

That's why the OP should take all the suggestions she likes to her voice teacher.

Oh, and I thought of another one!  "I can hear the bells" from Hairspray.

I agree with your post.

I thought about "I Can Hear The Bells" as well (I do love Hairspray.) depending on the OP's age, looks, and voice it might be considered too risque for a pageant song.    Also since the piece would be for showcasing the singer's talent and not an audition, she could probably get away with transposing the gender in certain songs.  One of my up-tempo pieces I use to audition with at that age was a slightly-altered version of "Comedy Tonight"  from Forum, and it worked well.

I also love "My New Philsophy" from Charlie Brown, but- man- that can be hard than it looks to belt!  ;)

Alright, so thank you guys, by the way :) This really helps me. I do love Streisand. My voice fits well with her music :)
The songs I've thought a lot about before the forum:
I Can hear the Bells - Hairspray
You Can't Stop the Beat - Hairspray
Don't Rain on my Parade - Funny Girl (Surprisingly I can hit a lot of the notes in my chest voice, and I go into my higher register only for certain
Rose's Turn - (I don't know what musical but I saw it on Glee and I LOVE the song. It's sung by a tenor male, so I think I could do it.)
If I Were A Bell - Guys & Dolls
Hey Big Spender - Sweet Charity?

But other than that, I don't know. I'm not very musical literate even if i love them. Haha :)

The Jason Robert Brown post got me thinking about Sherie Renee Scott and Aida popped into my head. Would "My Strongest Suit" be appropriate since it's a beauty paegant?

"Before the Parade Passes By" (Hello, Dolly)

"The Trolley Song" (Meet Me in St. Louis)

"Seventy-Six Trombones" (The Music Man). Sung by a guy in the play, but who's to say it couldn't be done by a woman?

"I Can't Say No" (Oklahoma) -- as long as the show/venue is open to risque-itude.

I was just going to post "Before the Parade Passes By", but Baglady beat me to it.  Almost any of Dolly Levi's songs would work -- I'm fond of "So Long Dearie", too.

"Big Spender" is another good one (and yes, it is from Sweet Charity.)

"Turn Back, O Man" or "Learn Your Lessons Well" from Godspell.

"What's New, Buenos Aires" from Evita.

"Rose's Turn" is originally from Gypsy, and sung by the female lead. (Ethel Merman originated the part on Broadway.)
It's normally sung by women, though it tends to be used more by older ladies as in the musical the song is about lost chances, and faulty relationships with children.

If your registers have even a tiny bit of difference between the two, DON'T do "Don't rain on my Parade".  That's truly a belter's song, and I've only ever seen it done really well by people that can belt the whole thing.  Otherwise, it sounds...not good.  JMO though.  "Big Spender" is probably going to be too risque for a pagent, as is "All that Jazz", come to think of it.  You want to pick something that your voice can handle, that's a good showstopper, and isn't too risque for a pageant.

Jason Robert Brown (can you tell I'm a huge fan?) wrote a piece that's beautiful about Peter Pan...I think it's called "Never Neverland (fly away).  It's age appropriate and just a stunning piece of music.  Check it out!

Alright, so I've got a few more songs for your guys' thoughts:
How Lovely To Be A Woman - Bye Bye Birdie
Holding Out for a Hero - Footloose (The Broadway Version, not Bonnie Tyler lol.)

that's all I have that comes to mind right now lol.
