removing own post
« on: July 26, 2010, 07:53:01 PM »

I had posted a new topic that was then removed by a mod, I was just confused though so I posted again. I want to remove my new post, but you can't remove your own posts.

I would try reporting your own post (not sure if you can do that) or PMing a mod telling them about the confusion and asking them to re-take it down.

You can't report your own post.  But, you can PM a mod and explain the situation.

I removed it. Twice.

If a post is deleted, it was for a reason. Please do not repost again, if for no other reason I was questioning my own sanity because I was sure I deleted it, only to find it on the board.

But seriously, we know what we're doing and if we remove a post, reposting it demonstrates disrespect. If we delete a post accidentally we'll let you know. I accidentally deleted an entire thread a few months ago and posted an apology.

I do believe that you were confused, but now you know.
