He's about 180 lbs now, but only 10 months old, so he'll be bigger. He's mainly the epitome of "Good Dog", but since puberty hit him he can be quite annoying to walk 40-60 % of the time (must-sniff-EVERYWHERE!!!). The neighborhood cat's aren't helping either. He never cared about them, until they started ninja-swatting him whenever we where out and about. Now he freezes when he sees one, ready to...
Un-budgable. Ever tried to move 180 lbs of dog that does not want to? Like shoving a huge block of marble. Can't recommend it.
He drools entire puddles if he sits in one place for a short time. It's fun to find those puddles by slipping in them barefooted! He snores so loud I'm sure it causes him brain damage. DS is confused because Pavlov even makes snoring sounds when just lying down, but awake.
Other than that he is my trusted footwarmer. He follows me around everywhere, it's compulsatory really. If I get up from my place to turn on the kettle, he'll sigh, drag himself up from the floor, follow me to the kitchen, lie down in the kitchen. Then I'll walk back to the livingroom while waiting for the water, he'll sigh, drag himself up from the floor, follow me to the livingroom, and lie down by my feet again. After a minute the water is done, so I'll go to make the tea, he'll siiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh, drag himself up from the floor, follow me to the kitchen, etc. Everytime I do this, towards the end of the sequence he'll look at me with his serious "are you sure
you will be in this place
now"-face, before more or less throwing himself down on the floor by my feet.
He's lovely, patient, and as gentle as a large and very dumb dog can be.
