Are we all related?
I have to admit, I am much better with recognizing that I know a voice than a face...especially all those assorted aliens.  :>

One of the best scenes EVAR was a scene in Boston Legal when Paul (Rene Auberjonois) was still a regular. He went to talk to the husband of a judge who had been murdered. The husband was played by Armin Shimerman. They had this long, completely gratuitous scene talking about the lawyers and whatnot, and all I could think was, "Don't close your eyes, don't close your eyes!" But when I watched that ep again I totally closed my eyes and I was back on DS9 with Odo and Quark!!!

Is it so wrong that I just came up with the perfect names for triplets?

Kelvin, Celsius, and Fahrenheit!

You're asked to say who your favorite celebrity is on a Spanish test, and the only name that springs to mind is a movie reviewer who has a web show.

Someone asks you what your favorite band is and you name a Steampunk group.

...On the other hand, maybe I'm a hipster.   ;)

That's what DH was pushing for if Babybartfast had been a boy, actually.  I was less keen on it - sounds like he'd forever have people thinking his name was either Calvin or Kevin  :-\

When the guys at the comic book store not only greet you by name, but have your stacks put aside with a Hawkeye figurine on top of them, guarding this weeks' stash.

Yeah. I think I'm up there.

Oh, and then they all want to know where you've been getting your Avengers t-shirts and you have to admit that you bought new ink cartridges and iron-on transfers and... made them yourself.

I now have orders for SHIELD t-shirts with the boys' names on them.
... it might frighten them.

You make a Monty Python reference during a Magic: The Gathering game. I get double points!

This is actually a result of DH's influence, not mine. 3yoDS was dancing around upstairs chanting "yeah, Protoss, Go Protoss. Terrin is going down"
In the United States today, there is a pervasive tendency to treat children as adults, and adults as children.  The options of children are thus steadily expanded, while those of adults are progressively constricted.  The result is unruly children and childish adults.  ~Thomas Szasz

My BF and I were on the métro yesterday, when we noticed a baby in a stroller staring fixedly at us with a very serious expression on his face. We weren't doing anything interesting, and the baby didn't change expression even when I tried to engage him. BF and I then had the following (sotto voce) conversation:

Me: That baby is kind of weirding me out.
BF: Yeah, he's looking at us like he's collecting data about us.
Me: Maybe he's a Cylon.
BF: You know, they look like humans now.
Me: Yeah, I hear they evolved.
BF: Also, they have a plan.

You look at your colonoscopy photos, nice and smooth and well-vascularized, and realize it looks like Lady Cassandra.
