One of my dad's students actually burned down his apartment building trying to deep fry a turkey. Never underestimate the landspeed of stupid.

Auntie Venom, my DH just got a kick out of that statement!  He gets all kinds of cases every year at Thanksgiving and Christmas where stupid people leave those things unattended and burn their houses down with themselves in the house.
