Workday Pot Roast
« on: September 30, 2010, 10:53:41 AM »
A ridiculously easy slow-cooker pot roast. The vegetables listed are the ones I use, but you can switch it up with whatever you like.

3 lb beef (bottom round, top round, chuck roast, brisket, etc.)
1 large sweet onion, chopped in large chunks
6-7 baby red potatoes, quartered
1 can Coca-cola (12 oz.)
1 12-oz jar chili sauce
1 packet onion soup mix

Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker and cook on low for 8-9 hours. Serve and season with salt and pepper as needed.
...I learned my lesson / And yes, I still remember the last one / But this time will be different / Until I do it again... ~Phish, "Kill Devil Falls"
