I hope she's seasonal!
IndianInlaw:
I went into Burlington Coat Factory, looking for a belt. Burlington Coat Factory is a huge store, that features mainly clothing.
I circled the men's department twice, looking for belts. No luck.
By the front of the store, I encountered a group of sales people, standing around, looking like they were guarding this one display. A supervisor looking person was talking to ONE in a loud voice. I asked one (who didn't seem to be doing anything) where men's belts were. She couldn't be bothered to raise her arm, she lifted one hand (waist level) to point at the miles of men's clothing and said "there". I waited patiently for another word, so she said "in the men's department."
After successfully suppressing the urge to say "well DUH :P", I said "could you be more specific?".
She said she didn't know, she didn't work in that department. Well, she could have asked one of the other three standing there with her.
So I walked off, in search of, not men's belts, but a sales associate who gave a rat's Ooo, I tried to get around the word filter with a nasty word.. It seemed pointless to continue that conversation.
This other salesperson came scrambling up to me(from the opposite directions) and asked "what are you looking for?" The supervisor lady behind me said "men's belts".
I didn't find one, but it was nearly closing time and as I was leaving the supervisor was standing by the door and I told her "it will be over soon".
Tabris:
And now you fully understand my six-year boycott of Burlington Coat Factory.
gjcva1:
i HATE Burlington Coat Factory. i can never find anything in there, and i can never get any help in that store, no matter what time of year it is! the only dilligent employee i've ever seen there was the security person at the door to the mall. well, there were those three items i've bought there in the past 15 years....which strangely enough, are 2 winter coats, and 1 rain coat. anything else? forget it!
Alida:
I REFUSE to shop Burlington Coat Factory... they're consistently rude and unhelpful there. I'd rather pay more and not be annoyed by the experience.
IndianInlaw:
I had no idea! :o
This was only my second visit there.
