Stop following thread feature?

(1/4) > >>

(Sorry, I did look, I thought there was a thread about this not all that long ago, but I went back to before I was registered, and couldn't find it)

Could the powers that be come up with any way for a poster to stop 'following' a thread? I mean, not have it show up in your 'new replies to your post' sort? (it's kinda making me sorry I ever responded to the 'babynames' thead at all, among others :D)

At the same time, a 'follow this thread' button that will show up without my having to make a useless 'pod', or 'posting for updates' post?

Just askin :)

when I get the nitification mail, it has on there both a link to the page and then a few lines under that is a click here if you no longer want notification.

otherwise ignore the notice and it will stop telling you about it.

I don't get email notification. I was refering to the "show new replies to your posts" link at the top of the page next to your username.

ohh that one I've never figured out either.

I read all the ones I want to check on then hit Mark All as Read for the rest. But I do wish there were a stop follow button.
