Suze,

My furbaby is like that (except for me it's like around 3:30 am). My question is: How do you lower the volume on one of those models? Mine is LOUD and will find the most acoustic part of the house, sit down, and start 'alarming'.

-Mary

I haven't found the volume control yet either.

If you find it let me know ?

My last cat used to climb into the bathtub and howl.  It echoed in there.  Loudly.

There's no snooze alarm on a cat who wants breakfast.

and that is why my little "alarm clock" gets lunch not breakfast.  There are 4 bowls of food in the house, she can eat out of them in the middle of the night.

Can I trade you models? I can (usually) sleep through howling. My cats know this.
Which is why when mine want something, they stomp on me.

There's nothing like a sixteen-pound screaming jackhammer on your stomach to start the day off right. ;D
You are only young once. After that you have to think up some other excuse.
