Saks Fifth Avenue
« on: November 13, 2010, 09:55:23 PM »
Admittedly, I imagine myself to have all the style and grace of Marjorie Main as Ma Kettle and dress half as well. :P

Today, I was in Saks Fifth Avenue (in a tourist capacity, only)

As I was exiting the store, I held the door open for several people who were entering.   An older Asian gentleman brought up the rear. He said "Thank you, Madame" in such a polite, respectful tone of voice, I felt honored.

I felt like Audrey Hepburn. :-*

Isn't it a great feeling when politeness is acknowledged?  :)

Lucky girl, getting to check out Saks 5th Avenue!  I loved Breakfast at Tiffany's - I always wanted a sparkly tiara and a long black dress just like Audrey Hepburn's!  :D

I love Saks. Sigh.

And it's so nice when people acknowledge politeness!
