Dinners to go?
« on: December 06, 2006, 09:39:03 AM »
Hey all,

On the last forum (or the one before?) someone posted a suggestion for a gift - it was one of those places that puts dinners together for you (or you do it yourself), you pick them up, freeze them, and cook when you need them.  Examples would be: Dream Dinners or Let's Dish! (google it - I havent figured out how to post a link here!)

I am looking for the link that was posted, as I think it was a different company than the ones I mentioned above, or any other suggestions for places that do this sort of service (in the DC/VA area, if at all possible). I think it's a great gift idea, I am just looking for one that is closer/more convenient for my relative!

Thanks in advance!

thanks so much! I have searched in google, and keep coming up with the same franchises, no matter what key phrases I put in.  My Girlfriend's Kitchen is a new one for me though!

and if anyone knows of any others, keep them coming!

Thanks again!

Depending on your state, http://supersuppers.com

I've not used them (yet) but they come well recommended.

You might try alazing.com. They prepare the meals, freeze them and sent them to you in a cooler with dry ice and detailed instructions for preparation. My brothers and I have sent them to our parents and they are quite tasty.
