Stranger spots cancerous growth and saves woman's life!

I watched a report on TV about this the other day, and forgot to post about it, and I've just stumbled upon a newspaper article about it.

Basically, a lady in a queue spotted a black growth on another ladies arm, and told her as a nurse, she felt the lady should really go to the doctors and get it checked out. It turned out it was a grade 1 melanoma, which she hadn't even noticed was there, and if left another six months unnoticed, could have been fatal.

OK, I know it's generally rude to comment on people's appearance or point out moles :P , but wow! What an amazing story! I watched the lady with the melanoma being interviewed on TV, and she was so grateful to this mystery nurse who spotted it.
