Free lunch
« on: November 30, 2010, 11:25:42 AM »
Today, there are 4 restaurants set up in our lobby giving out free samples of food to everyone in the building. It is first come, first served, and apparently they often run out by the end of the scheduled time. I went downstairs and it was busy and noisy, but everyone was behaving very well. No pushing, cutting, or arguing, and people happily letting other people pass through and providing info on what was ahead. It was all very civilized.

It's a little sad that I'm this surprised to see a large group of adults acting like, well, adults, but I'm quite pleased.
The status is not quo!

Thank you for posting.  It is too bad that this is noticed, as it should be the norm and not the exception.
