  • Nothing could possibly go wrong with this idea.

I watch the Kennedy Center Honors on TV most years, and I'm pretty sure I've seen previous recipients wear their ribbons before, particularly if they are taking part in the ceremony one way or another (introductions, performing, etc.)

I did notice that she did not wear it to the gala dinner, nor did she wear her giant fur coat that evening either.

So....I'm thinking she wore it just for the red carpet, either as an attention getter (most likely) or on bad advice from a Publicist/Stylist....because it looks like hers is actually attached to her dress.

Though it was hard to tell, she looked like a giant fun disco ball in that silver getup. :P

Hmmm, interesting.

I would assume that a soldier who had received a Purple Heart (or any other type of medal) would wear it to another person's Purple Heart presentation. So I wonder if the same rule applies here.

I watched last night and saw past honorees wearing their awards.

I was puzzled that Oprah was not wearing hers but today I saw pictures that show it was tucked under her shirt.
