971 points combined - I did both.

But really, most of the gentlemens' questions seemed to be no-brainers, compared to the ladies'.  One difficulty re apparel - the background is quite dark in some of the mens' pictures, so I really couldn't tell whether they were wearing frock coats or tailcoats.

No kidding. Particularly since there's this all-encompassing theme of "Do whatever a woman wants you to do, unless it's let her vote or go to the bathroom unescorted." Sheesh.

That was fun!  I got 451 as a lady, I'm going to go back and take the men's test.

I still don't get the whole going to the potty thing.  I first picked making sure your attire was adjusted properly before leaving and it got me doing a strip tease.  Buh?  That one stumped me because I figured all of the above were correct.

It is also apparently inappropriate to kiss your BFFs when you see them in the park.  They had no fun!   ;D

ETA: I got 490 as a man.  I can't dress myself for train travel but if I ever find myself in a wormhole and come through on the other side as a man who has to fake his way through polite society, I'm all good.

Just the loo bit - I really did think that the main thing was to pretend you had never been there, so making sure your outfit was adjusted. But having to feel extra uncomfrtable because you're taking *too* long? How awful!

471 as a woman.  I missed the first outfit and one other one which I knew but the options were a bit off.

490 as a man.

I read too much.  That said I wished this would have moved a bit quicker.

Cute! I got 471 as a lady, although I did not know how to conduct myself in the train's dressing room.

Also fell with men's fancy dress - the clothes didn't seem Victorian to me at all!

A gentlemen never refusing a lady's request should be brought back :)

The "fancy dress" wasn't contemporary formal - it was "costume dress-up," so they'd be dressing in antique clothes by their own standards.

Says the person who didn't twig to it until second time playing (first time as woman, second time as man).

I was mugged in the park for forgetting my parasol.

490 as a woman - the only thing I messed up was in escorting guests to dinner. I had the husband and wife lead the way in. Shame on me!

ETA: and 490 as a man. I had him ask for a later spot on the female guest's dance card. Oops.

I'm the picture of politeness, but also had trouble with the clothes. I thought black was reserved for mourning and white was for young ladies, so I got both the dinner and party clothes wrong!

^I got the dinner clothes wrong as I showed my arms...I think I was run over by a carriage. :P

490/500 as a male, only one I missed was the stepping on a ladies train.  I knew the correct answer wasn't to blame someone else, but I was surprised that esscorting her to a dressing room was the right answer.

I'm good at tests :)

When I picked the white dress for the party I was chased by ghosts!

Now I have to go back and try all the wrong outfits! >:D

I did get run over by a carriage and throw my underwear at strangers... :( But for some reason I got a perfect score at the fancy dress ball! I'll have to try the 20s one too, that sounds fun.

I didn't see a numeric score but I was "The Picture of Politeness" in both genders.

Now, is there an 18th Century version of this?
