Renamed - Alan Rickman charms my aunt-in-law :)

Not to make y'all jealous, but my husband's aunt met Alan Rickman today. He spoke to the students at NYU Grad Acting and she reported that he was informative, charming and open to all questions.  Here's a photo she got to take with him (she looks like she can't believe she's in a photo with Alan Rickman!)  Glad to hear firsthand of another celebrity who behaved nicely.

I even love him in "Love, Actually," and I often have a hard time separating the actor and the character when I'm really into a film. (In general, I'm too attached to that movie.  ;D)

"Sense and Sensibility" and "Truly, Madly, Deeply."  He does unrequited love so well. At least in S&S he finally becomes requited. TMD is SO sweet, with a sniffle-worthy ending.

I'm so glad this turned out to be a story about him being nice!  :) I saw his name and I was going to be so disappointed if an actor I love so much turned out to be a jerk!

When I saw the thread title, I was afraid it was going to be a story about Alan Rickman doing something rude, which would have disappointed me because I love him too!  Especially in S&S.  I am so glad it was a story about how nice he is in real life.  I am jealous of your husband's aunt!
