We asked to have the major issues on the inspection report corrected -- something to do with the wiring in the breakers and how the hot water tank vented.  We also had the roof replaced, since it was very old and did not look good.

We are looking at bank-owned properties so as long as we get a solid foundation and roof we'll consider it.

We did look at one a couple of weeks back where one of the bedrooms was painted bright traffic-cone orange.  We are actually considering the house with the chimney that looks like a giant carrot.  I really want to plant some green shrubs at the base.

Well, the house with the stars is under contract, so perhaps they found someone who loves them as much as they do!
