Pshhhht, I am here too and have had the same feeling (why yes I read the first post and then... well... :P ) ...

I jump for joy when people reply to my threads, jump even higher when I am quoted, and PM make me hit the roof in a very positive sense of being overjoyed that someone is taking the time to talk to me haha.

(As far as languages go, I have French, English bilingual-except-when-not-woken-up-OR-when-I-would-need-it-the-most, some Spanish, smallish bits of Italian, vaaaaaaaaaaague notions of Japanese, I think I can say Hello in Korean, and I remember how to say "I am a student at X school" in Arabic :P )

Oh, and, huh... as far as thread killing goes, I have no idea what I do that does, indeed, kill threads, but for a long while my theory was just that I post from a difference timezone than lots of posters :P .

Thread Killer Sabbyfrog here. I actually think I killed two threads here in the last two days...  :-[

I am very much one of those people who "overtypes" when I can't think of just the right thing to say. Usually, I can be pretty concise but sometimes, I just can't get the words to come out of my head and into my hands to type them. I am very opinionated (I am sure some you have noticed...  :P ) and I am just not as eloquant as I'd like to be sometimes when I am passionate. I feel like people get to my posts and go, "Whoa! I have no time to sit through that," and decide to move on thus leaving my post as the last one and the thread dies.

I think I would rather just let myself believe that my posts were so profound that no one else felt the need to reply...so there...
yep, that's it.... no no it's not to save my ego...

Denial... I haz it.

See? I just killed this one...    :(
