This is too funny! I occasionally see people joking (so I thought...) "I killed this thread!" but I didn't realise it was an actual thing people worried about. Maybe because I assume that if what I said was that dumb other people would either straight-up ignore it, or just tell me that I was dumb! I don't think I've ever seen the last post of a thread be something controversial or dumb. (I realise people know they're being irrational, it's just interesting to me that it's such a common worry.) Now maybe I'll start being paranoid about it too!
