Have you ever wondered what Ticia would look like completely bald?

Well, now's your chance to find out! I'm shaving my head for kids with cancer.

St. Baldrick's Foundation is having an event near me on March 12th, and I've decided to take the plunge and go bald!

My goal is to raise $1,000 by March 12th, and I'm hoping with the help of the generous forum members I can do it. Please take a minute and donate here. All the money goes directly to St. Baldrick's to help fund research to fight childhood cancer. 

Even if I only raise $10, though, (and even if I donate that money myself...) I'll still be shaving my head. So, if nothing else, watch this thread for funny, silly, and hilarious pictures of me completely bald. It's a cause near and dear to my heart, and I invite you to participate with me by donating whatever you can.

I did the same five or six years ago, for the Leukemia Foundation here in Oz, and I raised a good wodge of money, so I'm sure you'll reach your goal. If I get a job before the deadline I'll help!  Also, if your results are anything like mine, about 6 months after the shave you'll have a perfect hairdo that looks like you spent a mint on it!

What an incredibly generous and wonderful thing to do for someone else.  Hair grows back, but what you're doing in the process will last forever.

Dang.  There are times when the people here at EHell really touch my heart and make me almost cry sitting at my desk at work!

I just got a reply from the event coordinator, and he tells me that for hair that is long enough (which I'm positive mine qualifies) we can donate the hair to Locks of Love. So, two great causes in one go! Yay!

ETA: I make a mean waffle, not a crazy one. Also, ?

I always thought the woman in your profile looked like she was going crazy for a waffle - "Aaaaaah! Give me a waffle!!!!" 

...but maybe I've been seeing it wrong the whole time? (Sorry, it's a small pic...)
