Keeps my lap warm & my Kindle propped up - when it wants to...

How cute! I can sometimes rest a paperback book on Fred, if I wait until he's asleep. It's surprising that it doesn't bother them, but then, Fred likes to sleep on my shoes on the floor of the closet, which can't be all that comfortable.

He likes to sleep on shoes too - I don't get that - it really doesn't look comfy at all!

One of my buddies used to have a shoe-sleepin' cat. She loved it when a visitor would take shoes off, because that meant new shoes to sleep on, and she would give it about six seconds before she'd plop down right on top of those shoes and snooze away. It was like a job to her: see shoes, sleep on them.
Words mean things.
