Hopefully this will get fixed soon as it's making threads difficult to read.

Well, I'm glad it's not just me going slowly mad. 

But it's really distracting and makes it hard to decipher posts.

It even changed a thread title that wasn't new but had been around for a while--why I s.h.o.u.l.d.n.'.t meddle.  I didn't think the filter was retroactive?

Maybe threads are refiltered when posted in?  The pdoodies hair was very confusing to me at first.  It took me a bit to realize sh ort was being caught.

Just checked the very first thread in 'Life in General'... 926 pages back, 2006. Pooadities is there.

Are they even going to be able to fix this? Or is it like a 'search and replace', once it's gone, there's no getting it back?

Or they can do a restore from last night's back-up (one would assume), meaning that all of todays posts would be lost. What a nightmare!

I manage a fairly large database, I live in fear of something like this happening. Search and replace functions have my extreme respect :P
