Oh, it was more of the latter.  Perhaps a bit of, "Hmm, what's this odd thing on my hand?"  But my way of phrasing the story seemed more fun.  :)

She's also discovered how to turn her crib toy on.  You whack it with a pacifier.  Sure, you could just push the front panel with a hand.  By why do it the boring way when whacking it with a pacifier until it turns on out of defense is so much louder and more fun?
