At least she was being polite and trying to fix the problem.

Chartreuse:
That's just one heckuva no win situation.  How embarrassing for her, and how frustrating for everyone who'd have to sit by her.

Clara Bow:
I heard about that on the radio this morning and my heart went out to the woman. I was a little surprised to hear her call it a medical condition (as I understand there are treatments for excessive flatulence), but I think she was trying to cover her embarrassment. But lighting matches on a plane?? Does she not watch the news??

LadyJaneinMD:
Yup, it's obvious that she doesn't watch Mythbusters. They busted that myth ages ago (about flames taking away the smell).
And I agree, doesn't she ever watch the news??  What on earth made her think that lighting a match on an airplane is okay??
Poor woman.

We all know from talking about our wonderful SPAM folders that Mythbusters is no match for "personal experience".  How many times have you (in general) heard, "But it worked for me!"
