Such a sweet kid!

BG: My mother is a pastor. About 3 months ago, her daighter (my sister) died. Everyone of the church was notified. Since a while my mother works again, but part-time.

Last sunday there was a kid-event in the church to celebrate Palm Sunday. They could make staves with palmleaves and candy. When they were making this, my mother told them that the idea was that they would not keep it, but give it to someone who could use some support. Someone who was alone, or sad, or sick. Could be anyone.

After the event, as my mother was getting out the priest robes, a little boy of 7 years old came in and offered her his staff. 'I think you are sad, so you can have my staff'.

She told me yesterday over the phone, and I was all like 'awwww'.

That is beautiful!
One option in a tug of war with someone is just to drop the rope.
