I don't know, but I assume you've searched the Web? maybe there's a model or a kit? Try the shops for science museums.

Apparently, you're not the only one who wants one.

http://www.cbs.com/forum/posts/list/27554.page

This link has info on the actual one on the show. http://www.geekpeeks.com/2010/12/09/geek-peeks-top-5-stuff-from-the-big-bang-theory/

The second link gentlebutterfly is the one they used, but it's 2 stacked together.
The status is not quo!

Haven't looked, but I've bought various interesting things from thinkgeek.com
Postage to Aus can be a bit prohibitive, though.
Look out...
It's one of the Aussie Contingent!

Have just had a bit of a search online, and the only big one I could find was, as mentioned by another poster at:  http://www.indigo.com/models/gph-dna-models/17-layer-dna-model.html

The price may put you off a bit, though.  $1295 plus shipping.

And you'd have to get two of them to make it look like it does in the show!

See I think the inflatable model here: http://www.thednastore.com/dnastuff/dnamodels.html  is pretty cool!

I was going to suggest Scienceworks, or perhaps Questacon might be able to help you. I know that we have one that's only about two feet tall that we got at Questacon (in Canberra) and it was almost $300, but it's pretty cool.

Also, if memory serves, during one episode they have Sheldon working on it, and apparently it's not human DNA, it's his idea of what the DNA of a silicon-based life-form would look like.

/geekout.
... it might frighten them.
