Proper British etiquette in Montana
« on: May 06, 2011, 01:28:28 PM »
Here's an article about Prince William's visit to Montana - that nobody seems to have known much about.

Ranch hand hangs the prince up in a tree and sprays him with cold water for being a smart aleck.  (Well, he DID ask for it).  Can you imagine the tabloid headline if that had gotten out?

A cricket pitch was set up, the bodyguards dressed properly for refereeing the game, and tea and cucumber sandwiches were served afterward (by the prince).

OK, he WAS 10 years old...I do hope he made some good memories that summer.

A very sweet story, IMO - I think maybe he has a chance of staying sane.

What a lovely story from a terrific writer. I hope the Prince takes it in the spirit intended.
