Used it at work!

Quick BG:  My office is way understaffed, and overtime is always available, but never required. I usually work about 4-5 hours of overtime a week.  Recently, I've cut back on my overtime because DH and I just bought our first house ( ;D) and so have been busy unpacking, painting, doing yardwork, etc.

This conversation took place yesterday:
PIC (person in charge, but not a supervisor in any way)

PIC: So MrsCP, are you coming in to work tomorrow? I need to know who all can make it in.
MCP: I'm afraid that won't be possible, I have plans.
PIC: Well what are you doing?
MCP: DH and I are doing some yardwork since it's so nice out.
PIC: Oh, come on, you slacker! Work tomorrow! You can do both!
MCP: That's an interesting assumption.

At which point I conveniently needed to go to the fax machine on the other side of the room to "check something".

So glad Ehell has taught me this phrase.  ;)
Sell crazy somewhere else, we're all stocked up here.

The conversation should have ended at "I have plans."

PIC had no business prying into those plans, and should be reported for calling you a slacker. Something like that should be in PICs personnel file in the event PIC is ever considered for a supervisory position.
