Fox Trot

Does anyone else here read the comic strip "Fox Trot" and if so are you sad that it is going from running every day to just running Sunday?

I guess Bill Amend said something along the lines of he is tired of the deadlines and having to come up with new topics. It's hard to believe one could get tired of such a (seemingly!) fun job.  At least he will still make a Sunday strip!

Anyone else sad though, or just me?  :)

I'm surprised that there are any syndicated comics left.  From all that I understand, it's just not worth the cartoonists' time and frustration to be syndicated.  More and more, webcomics are the place to be.

I had read Foxtrot every day, and certainly do miss it!

I read a newspaper article some years ago that claimed that cartoonists that cut back or discontinued their strips were antisocial personalities! Does any one think that is the case? Or just somebody getting bored with it all?

I'm disappointed too. Especially since the strip they replaced it with, something about robots, isn't very funny.

I'm sad.  I love FoxTrot!  But at least there's still the Sunday strip...
