If anyone is still interested in this, the difference between the two Earls of Cambridge is one of pronunciation. Prine William is the Duke of Cambridge, pronounced Caim-bridge. The Scottish Earl is the Duke of Arran and Cambridge, pronounced Cam-(as in cam-shaft) bridge.

I knew everyone would be fascinated  ;D

Oh no. My mind is blown. Okay, I can handle it, I can handle it, they're not referring to the same physical location, right? Because Arran and Cambridge are in Scotland, and Cambridge is in England. Thanks for the note!
