Getting a beautiful (and completely unexpected!) gift from the junior kindergarten teacher at the school as a thank you for being in the library for her classes all year! It's just coincidence that it happens to be my birthday as well; now I feel extra-special!

Today, when DD woke up from her nap I was a bit slow in going to get her. DS went in to her room, put a bunch of toys in her crib and climbed in to play with her. When I walked in and saw it, I asked why on Earth DS was in the crib. His answer: "Sissy was lonely, so we decided to have a party."

I felt the need to revive this thread on a rainy, overcast, first day of school...
It made my day to discover that the carton of oatmeal I bought exactly fits in my canister, except for 2 cups; the perfect amount of excess to make no-bake cookies!
