Are there issues with the Notify feature?

I am set up to receive Notification when New Topics are posted in "All in a days work" - however I have not received the last 5 or so.   ???

They are not going into spam.

When I am viewing the "All in a days work" subforum the button is labeled "Unnotify" which tells me that I am still flagged "Notify."

Thoughts?

OP here. Just a note that to test this out, I clicked "Unnotify" and then "Notify" again to see if that re-starts 'em back up.

Yes i got the e-mail advising me of the update to the topic thread. Thanks.

Next time someone starts a new topic in "All in a day's work" an e-mail should be automatically generated to my personal e-mail...it was working fine till a few days ago...we'll see if it works or not since I clicked 'unnotify' then re-clicked 'notify' again (about 30 mins ago).

I'm not getting them either.  I'm following a small handful of threads and was getting several emails per day as I checked in - I just realized this morning that I hadn't seen any in a while.  I went to find 2 of the ones I remember and there have been several posts since I last read it, so there have been replies - I just haven't gotten the emails.

Well.....I can't speak to CuriousGeorge's situation, but mine is resolved. It is "user error."  :( (ahem) I missed this special little blurb in the e-mail itself: "More topics may be posted, but you won't receive more email notifications until you return to the board and read some of them."

Now, I knew, mind you, this truth to be held for my subscribed threads; however, I did not know it applied to brand new forum threads. (2 completely different animals.)

I have been enlightened. Back to your regularly scheduled program. Thank you.

Same here, I also tried NTN's trick with the "Notify" button, with no success. The last notification I received was on 8/11.

The outgoing mail part of the server is malfunctioning which affects emailed notifications.  We hope to have it back up by Wednesday morning.
